SoberYield (“we”, “us”) runs soberyield.com. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site, who collects it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply, and we keep it only as long as we need to handle your message.

Technical data. The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Visitor statistics. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.

We do not offer user accounts, comments or newsletters, so we do not collect names, passwords or payment details.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show ads on some pages.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland see a consent message, provided through Google’s consent management platform, and can choose whether to allow cookies for personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time through the privacy settings link shown on the site.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some ads may then be less relevant to you, but the site will still work.

Some articles contain affiliate links, for example to hardware wallet makers. If you click one, the merchant or its affiliate platform may set cookies to record that you came from SoberYield, so that we can be paid a commission if you buy. Their handling of your data is covered by their own privacy policies. Articles with affiliate links say so at the top.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example in the EEA or UK under the GDPR, or in California under the CCPA, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information about you, and to object to or opt out of certain processing. The only personal information we hold ourselves is what you send us by email. To make a request, email us at the address below. For advertising cookies, use the controls described above.

Children

This site is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
